Facts
Q: What wax do you use?
A: We use soy wax. We promise never to use paraffin wax (the most common candle wax) because it's a byproduct of crude oil, a nonrenewable resource, paraffin wax is considered harmful to the environment. This means it's not sustainable or clean, and is not something we'd burn in our own home.
Q: What else is in your candles?
A: We use a cotton wick, free from lead or zinc. Our scents are made from fragrances designed for use in candles. They're phthalate and paraben free.
Q: How long should I burn my candle?
A: No longer than 4 hours. This ensures you get the most life out of your candle.
Q: Should I trim my wick before I light my candle?
A: When you receive your brand new candle, it's ready to light and enjoy! On each subsequent burn, we recommend you remove the end of the burnt wick before re-lighting. This ensures no soot build up, and that it burns nice and cleanly.
